We respectfully point out that it is ultimately your responsibility to keep track of your account – for BUPA , AXA and Nuffield Health clients we will bill direct but all others we request payment at the time of your visit and we issue a receipt for you to claim back the cost of your treatments – NB Excess charges are paid directly to HFS so we ask you check this prior to starting treatment as this will need to be paid after your first visit.
In order for you to take advantage of direct billing (BUPA and AXA) you will need to contact your medical insurance company directly and provide us with your policy details and an authorisation number once the policy has become active. Until this has been completed satisfactorily we will require payment from you directly.
Nuffield clients are pre-authorised via a seperate system.
Please also note that some insurance policies cover certain professions such as podiatry and others do not. You should always check with your insurance company if you are unsure about any aspects of your cover.
