Nick graduated in 1997 and has been working in private practice for the last 20 years. Nick still treats patients in clinic and is involved in the mentoring and training and development of other staff.
Specialist interests include running injuries and running performance coaching, having been involved in athletics over many years, and Nick also has degree level qualifications in Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology which integrate with normal physiotherapy practice.
Nick is passionate about trying to encourage higher levels of physical activity and fitness generally in his patients and still competes in Judo and marathon running himself.
Nick is nearing the end of a Master’s degree in Pain Management at The University of Edinburgh with much of this specialising in the management of Headache and Migraine. This has now become an area of specialist interest and much of his clinical caseload is devoted to helping patients with chronic pain and headache conditions.
