It is essential that you have good muscle strength around the hip and pelvis.
Good quadriceps (front of thigh muscles) and gluteal (buttock) muscles are the most important regions to strengthen. This can be achieved through good squats, leg press and hip extension machines. These are difficult exercises to explain as done incorrectly they can lead to pain so worth a session with a good sports Physio to ensure they are done correctly.
